INTEGRATION MANAGER
LUCY MURPHY
Lives & works in Liverpool, UK
SUMMARY BIO:
Lucy has 15+ years of experience working closely with artists and creatives. Starting in 2008, she curated shows for young contemporary artists in Liverpool and worked as Gallery Manager at Ceri Hand Gallery. She managed artists, groundbreaking exhibitions and participated in international art fairs. Lucy later joined the curatorial team for the 2012 Liverpool Biennial to deliver ambitious public realm commissions. She then moved into the creative industry, working in client services at Uniform & Contingency studio. She is now excited to be back with Ceri to help her run the business and champion creatives!
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
Working on the strategy & delivery of a unique storytelling campaign that helped the Lake District National Park gain UNESCO World Heritage status for the first time in its history.
SPECIAL SAUCE:
I have a strong creative instinct that helps me pick out quality and nurture concepts and ideas into shape.
Customer Services Executive
NAOMI SAYERS
Lives & works in Hertford, UK
SUMMARY BIO:
Naomi has experience working in a variety of fields but excels in customer services and marketing. Having studied Architecture at Oxford Brookes and worked with The Sustainable Fashion Collective, she is right at home in a creative environment. Naomi is passionate about sustainability and has a fascination with Architecture and spatial design.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
I have thoroughly enjoyed working with The Sustainable Fashion Collective and Offset Warehouse to provide support and sourcing help for emerging sustainable fashion designers, which has taught me so much about sustainability and ethics in design.
SPECIAL SAUCE:
I have a strong attention to detail, a kind and generous nature and I always challenge myself to see situations from a different perspective than my own.
PARTNERSHIPS MANAGER
SAMANTHA BISHOP
Lives & works in Porto, Portugal
SUMMARY BIO:
Sam has many years experience working with artists from all around the world. Her career began at sea where she was an onboard Art Gallery Manager, Auctioneer and Art History Lecturer. Sam has had the incredible opportunity to work with artists that create art in many forms and mediums and has hosted many live painting tutorials, exhibitions and shows in ports around the globe. Sam is a huge advocate of supporting artists to reach their dreams and is proud to be on the Ceri Hand team.

Establishing an artist in residence program at sea, giving artists from all over the world the opportunity to travel and exhibit at sea.

LORNA MILBURN
SUMMARY BIO:
Coming from a Fine Arts background, Lorna originally picked up a camera to make posters for an exhibition she was in. Struck by the instant results of digital photography and – more so – the rooted connection to others, taking portraits offered, she soon made this her primary focus…
For 10 years she has worked on editorial portraits, lifestyle & documentary photography, and cannot believe she gets paid to ‘observe others’, when people watching is her favourite pastime!
CAREER HIGHLIGHT:
Seeing my first portrait in print in The Sunday Times.
SPECIAL SAUCE:
I’m obsessed with ‘the details’. Noticing the sore bit on somebody’s ankles when their shoes fit too tightly. Although I don’t necessarily capture these specifics, they feed into my impression of a person and help me connect with them on a deeper level.

ALI VERMILIO
SUMMARY BIO:
Ali Vermillio is a collage artist and visual wizard, with over 9 years experience in design and brand strategy. Ali left her role as a Design Director, to focus on her artistic practice. She has shaped the foundations of the Ceri Hand brand aesthetic and continues to work with us on creative strategy.
CAREER HIGHLIGHT:

SPECIAL SAUCE:
At heart I think I’m a seeker and this questioning keeps me curious to learn and explore. I think it helps my artistic practice, but also keeps me adaptive and creative in my commercial work too. I’m interested in deep thinking and creative ideas, as well as visual aesthetics.

We’re looking for a freelancer to work a minimum of 9 days per month on our digital content and branding. You’ll create the content for marketing campaigns, design new content & pages for our growing WordPress website, produce educational & inspiring digital presentations & course material and update all internal comms, assets, brand toolkit & image library. Plus lots more!

You’re an aesthetics junkie with a keen eye for design and a deep interest in the arts. You know the latest marketing channels inside out and you love all things digital & ideally can throw your hand to coding. You’re detail oriented & amazing at managing drafts, systems & feedback, combined with a can-do entrepreneurial spirit. You are committed to equity, diversity & inclusion.
