I’m Alkistis, an art professional with a wealth of experience in the art industry, across many roles. Here are just a few. I’ve had the opportunity to consult for the creation of the Alekos Fassianos Estate & Museum in Athens, work as an Associate Director of Exhibitions & Special Projects at The Breeder Gallery in Athens, as an Artist Manager & Museum Liaison at Blain Southern Gallery in London and an Artist Liaison at Simon Lee Gallery in London. I have supported artists in building international career profiles, strategising, commissioning and exhibiting new work.

I have a deep understanding of the arts ecosystem –  From conceiving an idea, producing the work, telling its story and connecting it to the Zeitgeist, through to pricing, positioning it in exhibitions, connecting to the right audiences and placing it in collections – I advise on every step. Mine is a holistic approach which looks to understand identity, build confidence and remove obstacles.

ALKISTIS’ COACHING EXPERIENCE

For over eight years I have mentored artists both privately and through my work at renowned commercial galleries, where I was responsible for the development of numerous artists’ international career profiles. I am also skilled at outreach, and helping develop your digital presence. My expertise spans all potential twists and turns your career may take, and helps you make those movements intentional.

I’ve had the honour to work with a diverse collection of artists and I love following their paths. Some that come to mind are Paulina Olowska, Clare Woods, Sarah Crowner, Dexter Dalwood, Merlin Carpenter, Ali Banisadr, Bill Viola, Bernar Venet, Chioma Ebinama, Philippe Malouin, Jannis Varelas, Johnson Eziefula and Luke Edward Hall, to name only a few. Some are emerging, some long established and some mid-career – all are an inspiration to me.
